Umatilla County, Oregon 1922
The town of Adams is located on the Oregon-Washington Highway and on the Spokane-Pendleton line of the O.-W. R. & N. Co., thirteen miles north of Pendleton.
This is one of the oldest towns in the county and it is situated in the heart of the great wheat belt of this county.
Adams has one of the finest school buildings in the county, a community church which takes care of the religious needs of the community, warehouse facilities to accommodate the storage of the vast crops of wheat grown in that vicinity, and mercantile establishments that meet the requirements of the town.
