Preface:

The information contained in the Roster, is that which was furnished the committee by the various Camps composing the Department. The Committee has spent many hours in compiling the information contained herein, and the Roster is as nearly correct as it was possible for the committee to make it with the information supplied. We have placed the names of the Comrades as near their proper classification as it was possible for us to do. If there are any errors or omissions, we are indeed sorry.

This Roster contains a numerical list of the Camps in the Department, their location, date and place of meeting. An alphabetical list of the members of each Camp, with their military record and address. An alphabetical list of the members who served in the Engineers, Hospital Corps, Marine Corps and the Signal Corps, and designating the number of the Camp to which each belongs. A list of the regular and volunteer regiments of Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery, with the names of the members who served in each Company, and designating the number of the Camp to which they belong, and finally, the Navy, listed in a similar manner.
