    • When it was decided to begin basket ball a committee of interested persons was appointed to draw up a skedule for the class games and practice was started.

    The first girls game played about a week later was between the Juniors and Seniors. It was a hotly contested battle for the teams were evenly matched, altho, owing to the short period of practice, the game was not particularly good basket ball. The final score showed the Seniors to be the victors which meant that they were to meet the Freshmen who were the champions of the lower class, the next week to decide the regular championship Again the Seniors came out ahead and so are the undisputed winners for three years in succession. When the H.S. team was chosen the class of '14 was well represented on it as well befitted a class with such honors. I.H. '14
