In the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Umatilla county. Fanny A. Reeder plaintiff vs. C.B. Reeder defendant. Suit for divorce.

TO C.B. REEDER THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANT - In the name of the State of Oregon and pursuant to the order of the Hon. L.L. McArthur, judge of said court, bearing date the 24th day of August, 1877, directing publication hereof you are hereby required to answer the complaint of the plaintiff herein before the first day of the next term of said court commencing on the 22nd day of October, 1877, or she will apply to said court at said term for a decree dissolving the marriage contract between you and said plaintiff and that such a portion of your property may be set apart for plaintiff's use in the way of alimony as by this court may seem meet, and for the care and custody of the said minor child the issue of said marriage of plaintiff and defendant and for costs and disbursements.

In the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Umatilla county. State of Oregon plaintiff vs. Robt. Alexander defendant.

TO ROBERT ALEXANDER THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANT - In the name of the State of Oregon you are hereby required to answer the complaint of the above named plaintiff filed against you in said court, on the first day of the next regualr term of said court to be holden in said county on the 4th Monday, the 22nd day of October, 1877. And you are notified that unless you so answer the plaintiff will apply to the court for the relief prayed for in his complaint, to wit: The foreclosure of a certain mortgage by you given to E.S. McComas, Register of State lands for the La Grande land district on the 3d day of August, 1871, on the south half of southeast quarter and northest quarter of southeast quarter of section 1, township 5 north, range 34 east, in Umatilla county.

In the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for the county of Umatilla Sims Russell plaintiff vs. Sarah M. Russell defendant. Suit in equity for divorce.

TO SARAH M. RUSSELL THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANT - In the name of the State of Oregon you are hereby required to appear and answer the complaint of the above named plaintiff in the above entitled court, now on file with the clerk of said court, within ten days from the date of the service of this summons upon you if served in Umatilla county, Oregon, but if served in any other county in said State of Oregon, then within twenty days after the service or before the first day of the next term of the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for the county of Umatilla, to-wit: the 22nd day of October, A.D. 1877, and you are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and answer said complaint as hereby required plaintiff will apply to the court for the relief therein demanded to-wit: a dissolution of the bonds of matrimony existing between you and the plaintiff and for costs and disbursements.

In the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Umatilla county. Nelson Rogers plaintiff vs. Lozina Rogers defendent.

TO LOZINA ROGERS THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDENT - In the name of the State of Oregon and pursuant to the order of the Hon. L.L. McArthur Judge of the said above mentioned court, bearing date the 6th day of August, 1877, directing publication hereof, you are hereby required to answer the complaint of the plaintiff filed against you in the above entitled suit before the first day of the next term of said court commencing on the 22nd day of October, 1877, or he will apply to the court for the relief demanded in his complaint herein, to-wit: For a decree of divorce forever dissolving the bonds of matrimony heretofore existing between you and the plaintiff in this suit and together with his costs and disbursements and for such other and further relief as in equity seemeth meet.

$45 REWARD - Five dollars each for the return of the following described animals to Wm. N. WELLS, at Pendleton, will be paid:

One sorrel mare 9 years old; star in forehead, branded W on left hip, the half of an H thus - on left shoulder, has a sorrel mare colt four months old.

One sorrel mare 7 years old, star in forehead, branded W on left hip and Y under the W, has a sorrel horse colt.

One sorrel yearling horse colt, star in forehead, branded W on left hip.

One yellow Indian horse branded W on left hip, R on right shoulder.

All the W's in above brands is what is called running W's.

Also $5 each for the return of the following animals to Dr. Miller on Birch creek:

One sorrel mare with brown colt, branded [side-ways p] on left shoulder.

Also one roan horse branded O on right shoulder. The foregoing animals were last seen on Butter creek.
