J.C. Franklin, Lena; cattle, F on left side, crop off right ear and slit in same; horses, same brand on left fore leg. Mrs. J.C. Franklin, horses branded F on left rib.

G.H. Reed, Wild horse; cattle RH on left hip, small hole in each ear; horses, outlines of a boot on right shoulder.

H. Stewart, Stewart creek; cattle, HS connected on left side, crop and two slits in left and under slope in right ear and dewlap;: horses thus [*impossible for me to draw - looks like a really big T with and line through the middle] on left shoulder.

W.H. Smith, Burch creek; cattle, H.L on left hip; slit in each ear; horses same brand on left shoulder.

John Hays, Lena; cattle, letter T and anchor united on left hip; under and upper bit in right ear; horses same brand on left shoulder.

R.K. Lansdale, 10-mile hou-e [sic?]; cattle, RL on righ hip; crop off left ear and under bit in right; horses, 2 on left side of neck.

Matt McCullough, Butter creek. Cattle, 55 on left hip; small crop of each ear; horses same brand, smaller, just over left stafle.

E. Ingle, Milton, Cattle, EI on right hip; under half crop out of right ear and under-bit in left; horses same brand on left shoulder.

G.T. Berry, Milton, cattle TZ on right hip; crop and under half crop off right ear; horses same brand on left shoulder.

Thomas Baker, Happy Canyon; cattle, 16 on left hip; swallow fork in right ear, double dew-lap cut in two in the middle; horses, same brand on left hip.

D.H. Leatherman, Heppner; cattle, double row-lock on left side; crop off right and swallow fork in left ear, neck-tie dew lap; horses same brand on left shoulder.

A.S. Wells, Heppner; cattle, three small O's in trlangular form on left hip, two swallow forks in left ear; horses, same brand on left shoulder.

R.A. Rice, Hudson Bay ranch on Pine creek. Cattle, RR on left hip; under half crop off right ear and upper half crop off left ear; horses same brand on left shoulder.

J.R. Daniels, Pendleton. Cattle, circle with anchor attached underneath on left hip; swallow fork in each ear and under bit and over bit in each ear. Horses same brand on left stifle.

S.M. Pennington, Lower Butter creek - horses, SP on right shoulder; cattle same on right hip, crop and split in right and two splits in left ear.
